There was at least one frozen charlotte sans head and limbs found in the
area of Geronimo, Guadalupe Co., Tx.  I wrote about it for a PBS&J CRM
report on state Hwy. 130, but that "unneccessary" section was edited out. I
agree with you that they are fairly common.

I am doing a short on-line article on Frozen Charlotte
dolls (see kyopa.org "topic of the month" next week!).
 From my own experience I feel these are fairly common
on mid 19th to early 20th century sites, but am having
trouble finding direct references to them in reports
or on-line resources.  I'm hoping some of you can help
add to my list of other archaeological sites and other
states where these dolls are found.
