Hi George,

        Have you ever run across a date when the Owens company ceased their
restricted licensing?  Scoville makes it sound like it was still in place in 1918, but he
does not actually say so -- at least not anywhere I could find.  With the advent of gob
feeders in 1914 and their general acceptance by 1917, I would think that the Owens
group would have changed their tactics by about that time.  Any suggestions?
