Applications are invited for students wishing to read for a postgraduate
degree at Bristol University Archaeology Department from Autumn 2004. The
Department offers a range of one-year specialist Master's programmes,
including MA Historical Archaeology of the Modern World (AD 1500-2000), MA
Maritime Archaeology and History, MA Archaeology for Screen Media and MA
Landscape Archaeology. We also invite applications to read for research
degrees (MLitt, MPhil or PhD) in historical archaeology, landscape
archaeology, and other fields in which the Department specialises.

Bristol University is home to one of the largest British graduate schools in
archaeology, with over 90 graduate students. The Department of Archaeology
welcomes applications from overseas and mature students. UK or EU students
who wish to apply for AHRB funding should contact the Department as soon as
possible.
