ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

> It's a Nano World is the name of the 3,000sqft traveling exhibition we developed with Cornell University and Painted Universe. The target audience was 5-8 year olds, which presented some interesting challenges-- as the smallest thing they could think of tended to be sand or ants, and they had no idea what a cell was (cell boat, jail cell, etc.).

> Thus the exhibition includes a LOT about magnification (hand magnifiers, hand-held video magnifiers, zooming in, Powers of 10, giant fresnel lenses) and a lot about cells-- finding the white blood cell in the blood drop, sorting cells, video footage of living cells. We found that younger and older visitors and adults also stayed a long time trying out all of the exhibits.

Check out www.itsananoworld.org for more information and photos. The exhibition is currently at Innoventions through early May (being enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of visitors in sunny Florida), and then we are filling out its national tour. Feel free to contact me for more information, evaluation results, availability etc.
