Chris asks:
Briefly, one of my questions is how long can cells be stored in a closed
container or incubator before needing, if needed oxygen?
All egg incubators have got ventilation holes which (when used) in our
experience have provided enough ventilation.
We never keep queen cells in an air tight container.
Keeping the cells warm while transporting and installing is important. Many
use old egg cartons but I like to use a styrofoam box with a cloth rag to
keep the cells from rolling around.
