For Black History Month we have created viewable/printable pdf files of
" ' We Were There,Too' : Archaeology of an African American Family in Sacramento, California" (1992).
The excavation report (whose title comes from a slave narrative) represents a single family in about 1900. Unfortunately, we do not have a MS Word file of the report, however you can find the pdf at

I'd like to get the link to this report out to a wider audience. Anyone got any suggestions of specific websites we could ask to link? Is there a single website from where one can link to fulltext online archaeological reports? Should be.
