Dear Steve,

I am the Szell fan who graduated a year ahead of you from Shaker.

Thanks (belatedly) for your analysis of the Curzon/Szell Brahms 1.  I heard
Szell play it with Rudolf Serkin at Severance Hall and treasure the
subsequent recording.  But I think I enjoy the Fleisher/Szell Brahms 1 most
of all.
