I recently bought a CD of music by the Breton composer Paul Le Flem and
was surprised by his dates (1881-1984). The only other CM composer I
knew of who passed 100 was Leo Ornstein (1892-2002), although I think
there is some doubt about that. The Classical Net list of composers'
ages at death lists sixteen who died in their 90s but doesn't mention
either Ornstein or Le Flem, understandably as neither is a household
name. Does anyone know of any other 100+-year-old composers?
