May I second David Harbin's perceptive championing of these wonderful
songs?  That they (and many other of Korngold's works) have not received
more attention is disgraceful.  Besides the Finney/Downes recording, I
also have recordings of the songs sung by Anne Sofie von Otter (DG 459
631-2) - my favorite -and Steven Kimbrough (Acanta 43 539), both of these
with the original piano accompaniment.
