No one suggested that NOD made a motion. The first statement is correct.
Actually CHC just routinely asked for an extension of formic use.
2 years is the usual extension period for this sort of thing, as those of us
who fought the border closure know well.
The usual process, for regulations under observation, is to extend two
years, then -- if conditions have not changed -- another two, and another
2...
I hope the impression here is not that NOD is under attack. We all
appreciate NOD's efforts to make formic treatment simple and safe. We do
not, however, agree that approval for other uses should be curtailed in
favour of only NOD's product.
