This is my first post. I am an interested in receiving advice about finding
a mentor. I am currently working at accumulating my hours to sit for the
exam. I am doing this by consulting for a group of Doulas. I am a RN, BSN. I
took a course and became a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. I am interested
in finding a mentor. My problem is that any LC I have spoken with was either
too busy or was trying to take the little business I do have. I do refer to
LCs if I feel the issue is beyond my scope of practice. I live in Westchester
County, NY. Any ideas on where I could find an eager teacher for an eager
student?
Thank You.
