Anita,

I reviewed the abstracts at the site you provided and nothing changes my
opinion that Owens Valley Brown Ware is not related to coil-paddle-anvil
construction pottery on Spanish mission or presidio sites. Although those researchers
brought together by Jeerkens provide interesting new technical information on
paste content, nothing new is added on traditions based on construction
technique or outside cultural influences of said traditions. I feel this reference is
a red herring and that I remain on top of the issue.
