a digital photo converted to an sla pattern making machine pattern would
be ideal...no damage to the stone...the  sla pattern then could be
ceramic dipped and then poured out of metal....brass ..bronze.alum..or
even stainless steel..i might just give this a try to see if it will
work...doing research on a civil war soldier so i have a subject in mind
already
