Subject: [SocPaArch] New Publication from NYSM - Archaeo of Albany
I have been asked to forward the following notice of a new publication by the New York State Museum. Although I have not yet seen the book myself, I am familiar with much of the work that it summarizes and suspect that this will be an important piece of literature.
FYI - Albany is one of the oldest cities in North American, first established as Fort Orange in 1624 and continuously occupied since that time.
