Carol..im the one that should feel like cinderella after midnight when
it comes to this list serve..my training in Historical Archaeology
consist of excavation of a few sites (emergency artifact recovery)that
were about to be eliminated to urban sprawl..My chosen profession is Law
Enforcement Fire/Arson Investigator.. I do get to excavate some sites
every week but as a cause and origin expert(crime scenes)...the
historical areas that I feel comfortable in...are the American Civil War
period and Pre Colonial Shipwrecks..having been trained in Preservation
of iron artifacts in florida...as an Amature Archaeologist....(long
stretch on that one)..i look forward to any topic on this list and gain
new knowledge each and every day..i stand in awe at the dedication and
expertise of the members here....so if I don't feel out of place
here...no reason for you to! Signed the Ultimate Archrookie.

Hi, Carol

Sometimes responses on the list can take a while... particularly this
time of year, as school is getting back in session, and during the
summer months, when many folks are in the field/on vacation. Sometimes
questions get a flurry of responses, sometimes a trickle, sometimes
none. It is just the nature of the list :)
