I've used
http://www.antiquebottles.com/dating.html
for quick look-ups, but can't guarantee their accuracy.
It says 'If your bottle is embossed "Federal Law Prohibits...." ...1933
(end of Prohibition) - 1970', but no justification of the end date is
given.
Enjoy,
Susan

Hello all

Does anyone have a date range and citation for the following phrase on
machine-made bottles:

"Federal Law Prohibits the Sale or Re-Use of This Bottle."

If my memory is correct, it should have a date range of 1920s-1960s,
or
something like that.

Thanks.
