ACR Consultants, Inc., a CRM firm based in Sheridan, Wyoming, has an
immediate opening for a historical archaeologist.  This is a full-time
permanent position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves carrying out Class I-III archaeological
investigations.  Responsibilities include performing and directing fieldwork
projects, recording historic sites and features, historic artifact
identification, report writing, and site form preparation.  Special
attention will be given to applicants with experience in recording mining
resources.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Master's Degree in historical or industrial archaeology and at least 2
years experienced in CRM is required for this position.  Good writing skills
are essential.  The successful applicant must be willing to relocate to
Sheridan, Wyoming and is expected to travel for fieldwork.

COMPENSATION

Wages will be commensurate with education and experience.  ACR will provide
field personnel vehicles and equipment.  Lodging and meals are reimbursed
while in the field.
