Has anyone here heard the Stokowski/Houston recording from the mid-50's?
That one is my personal favorite.  The interpretation, as usual with
Stokowski, is a bit unusual, but I think it really works very well.  Even
if the interpretation isn't for everybody, the playing and singing are
top notch and the soloists are the best I've heard on any recording of
Carmina.
