Hi.
I am developing a genetics classroom program for high school students
that will be a part of our outreach program. Being several years
removed from lab experience, I started my search with an electrophoresis
kit from Edvotek. Now I need help in developing a long term solution
for our traveling needs. I would like six groups of students each
session to have the materials to prepare and run their own gels. I
don't know what that sample should be. (Temperature restrictions for
samples could be a problem as we travel via bush plane all over the
state of Alaska throughout the school year. Landing strips are akin to
a freezer, schools and planes, hopefully, an oven.) I have tried
working with those in our community with slow progress. Thus, if you
have a similar program, I would appreciate any direction.
Thanks.
