HISTARCHeronians,

So I came across the following on the website of a UK-based archaeology
firm:

"Fieldwork, in essence the remediation of any archaeological contamination
at a site, is usually the most expensive and time consuming element of the
heritage planning process."

Thank God that someone is making the world safe for the next shopping center
by decontaminating the countryside of all those disgusting archaeological
sites. Think they use special protective clothing?
