This discussion got way off track and confused. It all started with the
term "adulterated" applied to sugar syrup fed to bees.
But getting far afield is a bit common here, and often interesting.
It is a practice of the list to chop quotes (and I agree) but often we
lose just what is being replied to, so this discussion shifted back an
forth between sugar syrup added to honey (adulterated) and sugar syrup
fed to bees and some of the resulting "honey" ending up in supers.
