I understand that you are frustrated and upset at this no-confidence
vote, and turn of events, having hours cut, etc.
I also see that the handwriting is on the wall, in that eventually
something will happen that won't be good, and it will be "your" fault.
Hmm.
Why not write a letter to the hospital ethics committee, after trying
one more time to discuss this with your manager? Just explain to her
that you are going to put your concerns in writing to the ethics
committee before something happens, so that you and she will both be
clear on the concerns expressed (cc the head of the hospital, and head
of peds too).
