A bunch of years ago, at the Museum of Science in Boston, there was an
exhibit about the pros and cons of breakwaters. You could call various
townspeople on a phohne, a video would come up, and they would explain if
they supported building a breakwater or not and why. My three-year old niece
spent half an hour talking to every single person - and some more than once.
What really amazed me was that a couple days later, I heard her talking to
my grandfather about breakwaters and what various townspeople thought of the
idea. (She's in high school now, so I suspect that that exhibit probably is
long gone.)
