I've had a look at it. It's very pop-oriented. The fundamental
cataloguing concept seems to be the "song." Using it for classical
music would entail considering every movement of every piece a separate
song. There are doubtless workarounds available, but I suspect they
would be pretty awkward. Also, only a tiny portion of my CD collection
has track and title information encoded on the disc, so that function
is not helpful.
I've been using Classicat for ten years. It remains the best I've found,
though it is disappointing that its author, Tim Dickinson, hasn't followed
up on his recent work for some years. Anyway, you can get further
