None of the following is confirmed yet, but likely to be, soon.

Ligeti's "Le Grand Macabre," announced for the SF Opera by Pamela
Rosenberg at her first press conference for the 2004 season, is *not*
coming, a replacement hasn't been selected yet.

Verdi's "Macbeth" is to be replaced by, sigh, "Tosca."

At the SF Symphony, "Fidelio" is a non-starter, after all.  Apparently,
there will be no full-length opera presented by Michael Tilson Thomas,
even after the unqualified acclaim for the Symphony's "The Flying
Dutchman."
