ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Does anyone who maintains a leaf-cutter ant exhibit have a source
for the ant colonies? Any "leads" would be appreciated.
Two of the main suppliers (Museum of Life and Science in NC, and the
Cincinatti Zoo)
have stopped or slowed-down providing colonies.
Apparently it is now a big(ger) deal to transport leaf-cutter ant
colonies
into the U.S. because of post 9/11 security and import issues.
Well, there's an unintended consequence of "homeland security"!
