Here's my communication application question. It seems like it ought to
be fairly easy program to write (maybe) or buy a PC package that does this.
Thus far I have been unable to find such a package.
We get a CD a few weeks before the beginning of the month of the Stardate
(U. of Texas astronomy) radio program with 2 minute msgs for each day of
the next month. We would like to have a PC application that each day
reads the
next message on the CD and puts it on a recorded message line. When the
public calls in, they get the current daily message. Anyone know of such
an application or what might be involved in writing it? Is there
something like an answering machine library for VBasic? Reading the CD
and sticking
the next message in an applicatio file ought to be easy.
