Yeah, one of the guys was a regular on blackadder; that's one of the
differences with (some) british TV, I think: even the celebrities seem to
know a lot - all the monty python guys studied at cambridge, and one of them
wrote a book on chaucer...
I think their shooting schedules are incredibly tight, too; take over
existing sites for a weekend or something, so they can do their little bit,
and either come up with an answer or not...
I've never actually seen it, tho... Most of the time I lived in england I
didn't have telly, and we couldn't get the BBC in our part of germany (just
C-NBC, which wasn't really a fair trade!)

What I love most about the shows, if I am not mistaken, is that the scruffy
host guy (yes all their guys are scruffy) is also to be found in some of the
old Black Adder (?) shows with Rowen Atkinson (Mr. Bean).  I recall that he
appeared as one of several dopey old Doughboys in the skits.
