Hi Dave, Allen and Everyone,
The effects of nutrition introduce a whole new set of factors. I know
that fall introduced queens will produce brood longer and that those
hives will do better the following spring. Why? Yikes! :>)
I have also read recently that starved mammals pass on certian attributes
genetically as a result of the starvation. Something about methyl rings
or ??? truncation or ???. Could bees do the same?
It's way above this old bee wranglers veil. But it's all very interesting
to think about and I enjoy reading these posts.
Regards
Dennis
