If anyone has a Magnetic Jumping Disk exhibit and is willing to share his/her
wisdom on construction, operation, and maintenance, please contact me
offline. Thanks in advance.
A magnetic jumping disk is, basically, an aluminum or copper disk that sits
over a coil of wire. When a surge of current passes through the coil, the
increasing magnetic field induces currents in the disk which in turn produce a
magnetic field which in turn is repelled by the original field and sends the disk
flying.
