Sorry to seem cynical, but upon a careful rereading of the original NY Times
article that has created all this furor, I have to wonder who actually "broke"
this story.
It seems like the producers/creators of "Volcanoes" planted the seed
for the NY Times article. If that's the case, given the success of
"controversy
marketing" of films like "Passion of The Christ" and "Fahrenheit 911" perhaps
the
real story is not "Creationism vs. Science Centers" but rather the effect of
controversy
"campaigns" on marketing decisions.
It certainly seems to have shifted things in Fort Worth.
