I have to go with the 9th Symphony.  It was the first VW music I heard
as a youngster - think it was on the Everest label.  I loved the music
so much, I wore out the LP.  Power, tension, and heroism dominate the
work, and I believe Boult was the conductor.  I haven't listened to the
work for quite a few years, so it's possible I wouldn't be so keen on
it now.  I'll have to go back to it and see how it fits.
