absolutely
like the repeated argument that constructing a database does not double your workload, that sieving really is a good idea, that a total station is not too expensive to take into the field (if you have one, isn't it too big an investment to leave locked up in the office all week?), etc.
i'm just fine-combing hodder on drawing profiles & his assumption that the drawing staff and people excavating also have experience & know what they're doing, but...
