There are still places available for a field school this summer in
Northern Scotland, part of a collaborative project run by Amy
Gazin-Schwartz at Assumption College and Olivia Lelong at Glasgow
University investigating medieval and Norse/Viking settlement in
Strathnaver. The 2004 season will run June 12 - July 3, and involve
excavation of one structure that appears, on form, position and
location to be Norse; and testing a second structure nearby. 3
credits are available through Assumption College.
