The Spring issue of Archaeology & Public Education, the electronic
newsletter of the Society for American Archaeology, Public Education
Committee, is now available. It can be viewed at
http://www.saa.org/PubEdu/a&pe/index.html.

The Spring issue contains information on summer archaeological field
projects and workshops for teachers and students in Illinois, Indiana,
Iowa, Maryland, Kansas, and Colorado. There are some web sites
highlighted, including ones on Michigan fraudulent relics, Colonial
Williamsburg maps, and the excavation of pirate Blackbeard's ship. There
is also a variety of news and information on new publications.
