Hi Mitch --
I've heard a lot of folks comment on the literary skills of the two
disciplines, and which one usually is the better at writing narrative
reports. iI you're just publishing photos, drawings, maps and tables of
artifact types, which comprise most of the CRM reports I see, then probably
it makes little or no difference.
Of course, you find poor righters like me everywhere, but I think you will
find that those who are trained and expected to produce narratives for a
living, like historians, tell the story better.
I have also seen this difference in my CRM work.
