The best way to get rid of cds (especially a large amount) is this.  Take
small batches of them to reputables stores in your area which you know sells
used cds.  They will usually buy them for about 5$ apiece.  However, they
will not buy all of them if you have a large amount.  So you will need to
visit quite a few stores to get rid of them if you have alot.  If you have
any items of special value to get rid of, take those out and auction them
off online first.
