Incorrect. Skrowaczewski re-recorded both the 2nd and 9th, which existed
in earlier Arte Nova releases under, I believe, Wagasuki (sp?), for his
integral edition of all eleven symphonies.

And Skrowaczewski did a slightly earlier recording of the 9th with
Minnesota for Reference Recordings. Fabulous sound, but the Saar Radio
Orchestra performance for him on Arte Nova trumps the Minnesotans, IMO.
The Arte disc of the 9th is one of the best available at any price.
