What I am more interested in is:

Has anyone found any use of these greyish green, monochromatic, Japanese
made celadons in JAPANESE sites here in the US?

The greyish green, monochromatic, celadons have been shown to have been
produced in Japan (Stenger, Alison 1993 Sourcing and Dating of Asian
Porcelains by Elemental Analysis.  In: Hidden Heritage, Historical
Archaeology of the Overseas Chinese.  Baywood Publishing Co., New York).
They consistently show up in Chinese sites, but so far I've not seen them
nor found any record of them in JAPANESE sites.
