I don't ever recall seeing an article about bees in
The Economist before.
It is a simple overview of the situation, and can

Things are getting screwy... first Bee Culture runs an article on
world trade and protectionsim by Gary Shilling, and now the
Economist runs an article about obscure beekeeping problems.
