Beth Anderson's Orchestral Music Performed in California and Illinois

New York composer Beth Anderson's orchestral music has been recently
performed in California and will be performed this coming weekend in
Illinois.

On September 20, 2003 at 7 PM at Los Altos Methodist Church in Los Altos,
California, the Redwood Symphony performed "Minnesota Swale", conducted
by George Yefchak on the opening concert of their 2003-2004 Season, along
with Varese's "Density 21.5", Frank Zappa's "G-Spot Tornado", and P.D.Q.
Bach's "Bach Portrait", in the Los Altos Methodist Church.  You can find

On September 27, 2003 at 7:30 PM, Dr.  Michael Luxner will conduct
"Kentucky Swale" for the 4th time with the Millikin University String
Arts Ensemble at their School of Music in Decatur, Illinois as part of
their Collage concert.  For more information, please visit the Millikin

A major concert of Beth Anderson's music, "Swales and Angels" will be
presented on November 19, 2003 - 8 PM at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital
Hall, 154 W. 57th St., New York.

Belgium's Rubio String Quartet will perform a series of Ms.  Anderson's
Swale quartets and Joseph Kubera will be soloist in her Piano Concerto
for string orchestra, percussion and piano.  The Angel will be sung by
soprano Jessica Marsten with harp, celeste, 2 violins, viola and cello
(words by Hans Christian Andersen/Anthony Calabrese).

Other performers will include conductor Gary Schneider, percussionist
David Rozenblatt, flutist Andrew Bolotowsky, harpist Andre Tarantiles
and string bassist Darren Campbell.
