For those of you who, like me, are dumb enough to admire the movie
"Amadeus" (or the play), here is the Amazon link to the new "director's
cut" DVD release, with about 20 minutes of new footage, and some "extras"
(including a documentary and a commentary in which Peter Shaffer
participates):

I guess I just don't get out a lot.

On the mundane level that morons like us (folks that admire Amadeus) can
appreciate: (a) the entire movie now fits on one disk (unlike the prior
DVD release), and (b) the picture quality on the new transfer is beautiful
(where the picture quality on the original DVD release was pretty bad).
