I suppose there is a period of time when thawing out the honey that is
above freezing but less than room temperature, which promotes the start of
crystallization. Crystals in the honey tend to speed up crystalization
even after thawed.
That said. I have not notice a big difference. When thawing honey I do
make sure to separate the containers to let air circulate around them and
put them in a warm room (or heated box) to minimize the time it take to
thaw. Just leaving jars or comb all together in a box works much like a
cooler and keeps them quite cool for a long time which likely would promote
crystalization.
