Why? are there bacterial diseases of sugar beet, there are some bacterial
diseases of plants but few of them produce economic loss.

I do not know about the bacterial disease of the sugar beet. Maybe others on
the list will comment with greater knowledge of the subject. I had doubts
about the stories when I was first told at the national meetings

. Reason I have waited three months to tell the list to see if the sugar
beet story would go away.

While I was in California a few weeks ago I was again told the same sugar
beet story by beekeepers.
