Ok, I understand that except that I recall there must be some free space for
the convective current. Let's presume such a space is there.
But, do follower boards provide some mechanism, catalyst, etc. that a frame
does not? The author of the article claims the cooling air will flow behind
the follower board before it can precipitate against the inner cover. If
that is so, why will it also not flow down between frame 1 and the outside
of the hive? (Not enough space for a convection current to be set up?)
