I have reported on Fiolet clay tobacco pies from several sites:
Pfeiffer, Michael A.
1982 Clay Tobacco Pipes and the Fur Trade of the Pacific Northwest
and the Northern Plains. MA Thesis, University of Idaho, Moscow.
pp. 206-208.
This includes the definate fiolet stems reported in the two BAR articles and a
probable fiolet stem with the "depose" identical to the two from Washington
State and California. This example was from the military Fort Robinson,
Nebraska and came from the Guard House area.
