Dear List Members,
Please help spread the word about this opportunity for graduate students
to get involved in the profession!
The Medieval Academy of America’s Graduate Student Committee is looking
for graduate students to serve on the committee for a two-year term,
2004-2006.
The committee acts on behalf of graduate students in North America and
overseas to voice their concerns and promote their participation within
the Medieval Academy of America (MAA) and the broader academic community.
For more information on the committee and the medieval graduate student
Med-Grad listserv, please see the Medieval Academy Website at
http://www.medievalacademy.org, under "Graduate Students." You do not
have to be a member of the MAA to sign up for the listserv.
All graduate students interested in serving on the Graduate Student
Committee, and who are members of the MAA, are invited to nominate
themselves. Please (re)introduce yourself to the med-grad listserv and
send a brief statement, c.v., and the name of one reference as soon as
possible to Richard K. Emmerson at [log in to unmask] Indicate your
university, discipline, and particular interest in contributing to the
committee. We hope to represent a wide range of academic disciplines and
geographic regions on the committee. Two graduate students will be
appointed to the committee by the Council when it meets in Seattle in
April 2004.
