Coming in late to this thread but having enjoyed it a lot -- I guess the
most memorable find would have been finding an alembic at Martin's
Hundred -- of course it was very late on a Friday afternoon!!

It comes to mind that a collection of these "most memorable finds" might
be an interesting little story book as a teaching aid for kids
interested in archaeology.
