I have just founded a new e-mail list to provide critical review and
discussion of books, journal articles, and publications in other media
concerning archaeology and related fields.

Unlike some of the existing similar services, this list will not be limited
to a specific aspect of archaeology (e.g. prehistoric archaeology, theory,
CRM, etc) so it should be a place where a wide variety of people interested
in archaeology come together to share ideas.  The list is to be moderated
in order to ensure that it remain on-topic, civil, and (at least somewhat)
serious.  Think of it as an opportunity to participate in an electronic
seminar with an unlimited field of scholarship.
