INDUSTRIAL ARCHAEOLOGY AT IRONBRIDGE
FIELD SCHOOL - 16-29 JULY 2003

Bristol University Archaeology Department, in collaboration with Ironbridge
Gorge Museums Trust, are delighted to announce a 14-day residential field
school in industrial archaeology at Ironbridge, Shropshire (UK).

The course offers intensive training in the principles and practice of
industrial archaeology. The project will investigate the archaeology of
early industrialisation, and in particular the remains of 17th century
industry in Coalbrookdale. Full details and application forms are online at

Fees are £500 for 14 days, including 3 meals per day, accommodation,
